LIVESTOCK OPERATOR FIRE AND FLOOD ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM (LOFFAP) Resource Information
The Livestock Operators Fire and Assistance Grant Program (LOFFAP) provides a source of funding for landowners and lessees of a livestock operation with more than 40 animals under normal operating conditions; that require assistance as a result of a wildfire and associated flooding; and are ineligible for funding from, or partially funded by, another federal or state program.

Public Comment Period ENDS on September 30, 2024.
The primary purpose of the LCCGP is to provide a source of funding through at least FY 2011 to individual landowners and grazing and agricultural lessees of State or Federal land who desire to implement conservation-based management alternatives using livestock or crop production practices, or reduce livestock or crop production, to provide wildlife habitat or other public benefits that preserve open space.
The
Livestock and Crop Conservation Grant Program (LCCGP) initiated a 60-day public comment period, which will be effective from August 1, 2024, through September 30, 2024. The general public may make comments on the
LCCGP Guidelines,
